Privacy notice

This covers twikoi's free games (the Twikoi Arcade, at twikoi.com/arcade/) and the Twikoi Club page. Short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and we never ask for your name or email.

What stays on your own device

Your game progress, settings, creature album, liked games and Club "Count me in" taps are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. We can't see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

What reaches our server

Likes. When you tap ♥ on a game, the server keeps a scrambled version of a random ID made by your browser, so one browser counts once. No name, email or IP address is kept with it.

Twikoi Club "Count me in". Same idea: a scrambled random ID per membership you tapped, so we can count interest. It is not a sign-up, and no name, email or IP address is kept with it.

Bug reports and feedback (the 🐞 button). When you send one, we keep what you wrote, a picture of the game screen (unless you untick it), the game and page, your browser and screen size, the game's version, the words that were on screen and recent error messages. We don't ask for your name or email. Please don't type personal details into the note.

Online play. Messages between players in a room pass through our server while you play and are not stored. Room names you type are seen by the others in your room.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs: your IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time. They are kept for up to 30 days to keep the site running and safe, then deleted. They are not used for ads or profiles. Short-lived rate limits also use IP addresses in memory only.

What we don't do

No cookies for tracking, no ads, no analytics services, no selling or sharing your data. The games don't load anything from other companies.

Children

The games are free for everyone and don't ask anyone for personal information. The Twikoi Club, when it opens, will be for adults (18+).

Questions or deleting a report

Send a note with the 🐞 button in any game, and say which report (the game and roughly when). We will remove it.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
