Terms of use
These are the rules for using twikoi.com, including the free games of the Twikoi Arcade and the Twikoi Club page ("the site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If you are under 18, please read them with a parent or guardian.
1. Free to play
The games are free. There are no accounts, no payments and no ads. The shop pages and the Twikoi Club are previews: nothing can be bought on the site yet, and nothing on it is an offer to sell. If that changes, the new parts will come with their own terms first.
2. The art belongs to twikoi
All drawings, creatures, characters and pictures on the site are original art by twikoi and are protected by copyright. The games, their code, words, sounds and design are also protected. You may play, share links and take screenshots for your own non-commercial use (for example, showing a friend your high score). You may not copy, sell, print, put on products, train AI on, or reuse the art or the games anywhere else without written permission.
Other people's work used in the games (open-source code and fonts) is listed, with its licenses, on the open-source licenses page. Some game posts mention well-known games as inspiration; those names belong to their owners, and the site is not connected to or endorsed by them.
3. Play fair and be kind
- Use a nickname in online games, never your real name or anything rude, hateful or personal.
- Don't cheat in ways that spoil games for other players, and don't try to break, overload, scrape or attack the site or its servers.
- Don't send anything illegal, harmful or someone else's private information in a bug report.
We may remove names or reports, block access, or reset online rooms to keep the site safe and friendly.
4. Bug reports and feedback
When you send a note with the 馃悶 button, you let us use what you sent (your words and the game picture) to fix and improve the games. We won't publish your note or picture without asking. The Privacy notice says what a report contains and how to have one deleted.
5. No promises, and limits
The site is provided "as is". We try to keep it working and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that saved progress will never be lost (progress lives in your own browser). To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using the site. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.
6. Links to other sites
Links to Instagram and other sites go to services we don't run. Their own terms and privacy rules apply there.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
8. Law and questions
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA. For questions, or to report something that breaks these rules (including a copyright concern), send a note with the 馃悶 button in any game.
