The quiet companions · proposed fictional chapter
In this draft story, a stitched companion with a star on its chest finds a quiet seat at the edge of a page. It waits there long enough for the smallest travelers to feel welcome.
Two tiny ants bring news from the path. Three ink stars and a dotted moon make a little ceiling above them. A small trail becomes a place to rest, with room for one more unusual friend.
These roles, names and relationships are fictional proposals for Mattea to shape. They are not artist-approved canon, an artist statement or a personal biography.
The full photographed sheet and every paired raw crop/alpha boundary were reviewed. The stitched ears, chest star, long ears, tears and complete bow-tail remain intact. Neighboring illustrations and the separate halo below the hound stay outside its selected alpha. Original RGB, paper-toned interiors and source hashes are preserved.
69 drawings on this source are now reviewed; the sheet inventory remains partial. The stitched companion is a static complete 2D illustration for game layout and small POD studies. The bow-tailed drawing is held as a recognizable character study, excluded from game/POD selection and modeling. The six accents also have native repeat-pattern candidates. Neither scene motion nor flat game cards establishes a rigged character.
Artist commercial terms, print colors, supplier cutlines and physical samples remain pending. Better flat scans are needed before larger physical editions. Future inferred character modeling and print constructions require their own likeness and geometry review.
