Strawclops and the small things worth keeping

A huge eye, a leafy crown and a habit of collecting things that others miss. Meet the draft fictional resident of the Berry Glen.

Original hand-drawn art: Strawclops

Some creatures hunt for enormous adventures. Strawclops starts with the small things: the curved edge of a leaf, an overlooked berry, a button lost along the path. Its single eye makes that attention visible before a story has even begun.

In this draft story, the Berry Glen becomes a place where those small things matter. Strawclops does not gather treasure to hide it away. A found berry becomes a gift. A lost button becomes a reason to meet someone new. The character’s kindness is a proposal for Mattea’s review, growing from the drawing rather than replacing it.

The original illustration carries the details that make this creature recognizable. A model prototype explores its volume, but a digital sculpture still needs careful comparison, stronger small features and a physical print test. See the original and the prototype together in the studio, then save the designs you would like to follow.
