What is Creep Brawl?

Creep Brawl is a free platform fighting game made entirely from twikoi's drawings. Two to four of her creatures fight on floating islands from her world, and the goal is to knock the others off the edge.

Every hit raises a fighter's damage %, and the higher it gets, the farther the next hit sends them. Each creature's moves come from the shape of its drawing: tall ones reach far, round ones roll, heavy ones stomp, spiky ones prickle, winged ones float, bugs charge and sprouts throw her fruit.

Fight the computer at three levels, climb a ladder of three cups, try the daily challenge, play two on one keyboard, or make a room and fight friends on their own phones.

How to play

Move with the stick (or the arrow keys). Flick up or tap Jump to jump, and jump again in the air.
Tap Hit for a quick hit. Hold Hit to charge a heavy one, then let go.
Special is your creature's own move: a roll, a star throw, a fruit toss, a gust, a charge or a long reach.
Knocked off? Jump in the air, then hold up + Special to fly back. Grab the edge of the island to hang on.
Knock the others out of the screen to take their stocks. The last one with stocks left wins.

Modes, levels and unlocks

Quick fight: Pick a fighter, one to three computer foes, a level, a stage and the rules: stocks or a timer.
Ladder: Three cups of five fights each, with a giant at the top. Two tries per cup; every creature you beat joins you.
Daily challenge: One fight a day with a twist, the same for everyone, scored with up to three stars.
Online and local: Make a room and share its four-letter code, or play two on one keyboard or with game pads.

Tips

Save your heavy hit for when the other fighter's damage is high: that is when it sends them out.
Near the edge, a quick hit pushes them off; then wait at the edge and hit them as they come back.
Never use your last air jump too early. Jump first, then up + Special.
Heavy fighters shrug off small hits while they charge. Throw something at them from far away instead.
Thin ledges can be dropped through: hold down.
