What is Creep Squad?

Creep Squad is a free auto-battler made entirely from twikoi's drawings. You build a squad of her creatures, place them on a little hex board, and when you press Fight they battle on their own.

Each round you get ink coins (play money you can never buy) to spend in a shop of five creatures. Three copies of the same creature merge into a stronger star, and creatures that share a tag, like Garden, Ink, Star, Bug, Sweet or Bone, turn on team bonuses.

You and seven computer squads, each with its own plan, climb a ladder over 15 rounds. Lose a fight and you lose hearts. Finish 1st to 8th, then come back for the daily squad.

How to play

Buy a creature by tapping it in the shop. It hops onto your board, or onto the bench when the board is full.
Three of a kind merge into one ★★ creature. Three ★★ make a ★★★.
Drag a creature to place it (or tap it, then tap a spot). Front creatures hit up close; back creatures hit from afar.
Press Fight! Both squads battle on their own. A full power bar means the creature uses its ability.
Tags: put 2, 4 or 6 different creatures with the same tag on the board for a team bonus. 🔄 gives a new shop, ⬆ buys XP for more room, 🔒 keeps a shop.

Run: Fifteen rounds against seven computer squads on Gentle, Normal or Sharp. Finish 1st to 8th.
Daily squad: The same shops, squads and creatures for everyone today, with a result to share.
Creature book: Every creature with its tags and ability, the squad leaders you have met, the tags and her pictures.
Lesson: Your first run starts with a short lesson: buy, merge, place, fight.

Tips

Two copies on the bench? The third one in the shop is usually the best buy.
Keep 10, 20, 30 coins for interest when your squad is doing fine.
Back creatures need front creatures in front of them.
A ★★ creature that costs 1 often beats a ★ creature that costs 3.
Scout your next foe: its board shows faded at the top of the board.

Creep Squad is for anyone who likes to plan and then watch it play out: a run takes 15 to 20 minutes, the computer starts gentle, and there is no timer while you build.
