Creepdle: a free daily guess-the-creature puzzle

What is Creepdle?

Creepdle is a daily guessing game in the spirit of the word puzzles people share every morning, but with twikoi's creatures instead of words. Each day there is one mystery creature, and everyone gets the same one.

You start on an extreme close-up of the drawing: a few ink lines, part of an eye, a scrap of texture. Below it are twelve creature tiles. Tap the one you think it is. Every miss zooms the picture out a bit. You have six guesses.

The other eleven tiles are chosen to look alike, in the same ink style and with shared features, so it is a real puzzle.

How to play

Look at the close-up of today's creature.
Tap the creature tile you think it is.
Wrong? The picture zooms out a little and you guess again. You have 6 guesses.
After 2 misses you get a clue taken from her titles, such as a word in its name.
After 4 misses, three wrong tiles are crossed off for you.
Solve it (or run out of guesses) to see the whole drawing, your stats and a result you can copy and share.

Tips

Look for one clear detail in the close-up, like a tooth, an eye or a stripe, and check which tiles have it.
Use your first guesses on tiles that look most different from each other. Each miss tells you more.
Read the clue carefully: it comes from the creature's real name.
A new creep arrives at midnight on your device's clock.
