The raised-art studio · original drawing, new possibilities

A curl to carry.
A cat to keep.

Mattea’s ink cat becomes a backed keychain, a tabletop token and two rigid game collectibles.

Two shapes.
Four ways to explore.

The drawing sets the shape.

The tail, ears, whiskers and feet come from the reviewed native drawing. A convex plaque fills the spaces between them so thin details rest on a continuous surface. The 25 mm token has a circular backing. These are shallow 2.5D reliefs and rigid game collectibles, without inferred anatomy or a rig. The token is a tabletop alternative, not a standing DND mini.

Raised lines widen by 0.18 mm on the keychain and 0.20 mm on the token. This changes small gaps: the keychain ink regions go from 26 holes to 25; the token from 25 to 43 as joined marks also enclose new pockets. Fine features need artist and nozzle review. The original image and the embedded foreground texture stay exact.

The front carries her real art.

The game props project the original pixels on the front, with neutral reverse and sides. A single-material filament print would show the raised geometry. Digitally projected color is separate from a physical product’s finish.

Checked as geometry. Physical tests ahead.

Both exported STLs pass independent closed-surface, winding, connected-part and positive-volume checks, with no zero-area triangles. Their volumes match the source-derived profiles. RTX 3090 rays check 512 interior columns; 64 independent CPU rays agree. The keychain measures 4 mm through the backing and 4.6 mm at raised ink. The token measures 3 mm and 3.6 mm. Five keychain sections preserve its 5 mm loop opening.

These checks do not certify every line or gap, attachment stress, ring fit, sliced layers, material or strength. Artist review and supervised filament samples remain pending.

The earlier inferred cat support study remains blocked. These are separate constructions from the drawing; they do not repair that mesh.

The reverse stays plain. All views are digital renders; physical samples are pending.

Which fine marks need a closer look?

Compare actual raised-ink sections at three explicit extrusion-width assumptions. Geometry stays unchanged; sliced layers and physical tests are pending.
