Creep Crush: a free match-3 puzzle with 36 levels

What is Creep Crush?

Creep Crush is a match-3 puzzle made from twikoi's drawings. Swap two neighbouring gems (her strawberries, blueberries, apples, hearts, stars and eye fruits) to line up three or more of a kind and pop them.

Bigger matches summon her creatures onto the board as power-ups. Four in a row makes a creature that clears a line, an L or T shape makes one that blasts the area around it, and five in a row makes one that eats every gem of one kind. Some levels also have her creatures stuck in cages that you set free by matching next to them.

There are 36 levels, each with a goal and a set number of moves, plus a daily board.

How to play

Swap two neighbouring gems to make a line of 3 or more of the same kind.
Match 4 in a row to summon a line-clearing creature, an L or T shape for a blasting one, and 5 in a row for one that eats every gem of a kind.
Swap two summoned creatures together for a bigger combo.
Reach the level goal before your moves run out: a score, clearing every ink blot, freeing caged creatures, or collecting a number of one gem.
Earn up to 3 stars per level. Moves you have left at the end become a Creep Rush bonus.

Modes, levels and unlocks

Level map: 36 levels on a winding map. Clear one to open the next; earn up to 3 stars each.
Daily board: Once level 1 has a star, a daily board opens: one of levels 13 to 36 with a fixed seed, so everyone gets the same start and the same refills, with 2 extra moves and no boosters. Share your result.
Boosters: 2 Stomps and 1 Extra moves after level 2, then +1 Stomp for each level's first 3 stars, +1 Extra moves every 5th level, and +1 Stomp for the day's first daily win.

Tips

Make matches low on the board: falling gems cause free cascades.
Do not fire a summoned creature right away. Two creatures swapped together are much stronger.
On cage levels, work next to the cages first; score comes on its own.
Save Stomp for the last stubborn cage or blot.

Who will like Creep Crush?

Creep Crush is for match-3 fans who want a fresh look. The rules are the ones you know, but the gems are her fruit, hearts and stars, and the power-ups are her creatures, popping onto the board with a squash.

The levels start easy and get properly tricky later, and the daily board gives you a short challenge every day. Collecting creatures in the Creep Collection is a nice side goal.
