Creep.io: a free .io arena game with twikoi's creatures

What is Creep.io?

Creep.io is a free .io arena game made entirely of twikoi's drawings. You are one of her creatures, sitting in a round body, swimming around a big arena full of other creatures.

Eat her little drawings (strawberries, stars, hearts, ink drops, sweets) to grow. Any creature a quarter heavier than another can swallow it, so you hunt the small ones and run from the big ones.

Computer creatures keep every arena lively, and friends can join the very same arena online with a room code.

How to play

Steer with your thumb (slide anywhere) or the mouse. Arrow keys and WASD work too.
Eat her little drawings to grow. Bigger creatures are slower, so be smart.
Swallow creatures that are smaller than you; run from bigger ones.
Split (the ✂ button or Space) shoots half of you forward to catch someone. Your halves join up again later.
Boost (hold ⚡, Shift or a mouse button) is a dash that costs a little mass.
Spiky pots burst big creatures into pieces; small ones can hide under them. Power-ups: planet = magnet, butterfly = speed, heart = shield.

Four arenas, each with its own food, look and twist: Garden, Ink Swamp (slow mud), Night Sky (shooting stars) and Candy Cliffs (sugar rain).
20 to 40 computer creatures in every arena, from tiny ones to giants, all her drawings.
A giant legend in each arena: one of her book drawings. Topple it to play as it.
All 116 of her creatures to unlock: one every level, and any creature you eat 3 times joins you.
Goals for XP, levels, records, and a leaderboard in every arena.
Online play: up to 8 friends in the same arena with a room code.

Modes, levels and unlocks

Arenas: Play any arena you have opened, as often as you like. Each new level can open the next arena.
Daily Arena: Four minutes in the same arena as everyone else today, with its own legend. Grow as big as you can, then share your result.
Play with friends: Make a room, share the 4-letter code, and play in one arena together. Friends can jump in while it is running.

Tips

Small creatures are fast. Use that to escape, and grow before you take on others.
Split only when the creature is close and less than half your size.
Hide under a spiky pot when a giant chases you: it can't follow without bursting.
Boosting drops a trail of little things that others can eat. Use it to escape, not to wander.
Watch the arrow at the edge of the screen: it points to the legend.
