What is Pair o' Creeps?
Pair o' Creeps is the memory game you probably played as a kid, with a deck of twikoi's creatures. All the cards start face down. Turn two over: if they show the same creature, they stay up; if not, they flip back and you try to remember where they were.
There are 12 tables to clear, from a tiny table of 3 pairs to the Grand creep ball with 15. Some tables let you peek first, some have a gold pair that flashes every card for a second, and on shuffle tables two cards swap places after a few misses.
It is calm, kid-friendly and good for a quick break.
How to play
- Tap a card to turn it over.
- Tap a second card.
- Same creature? They stay face up. Different? They flip back, so remember where they were.
- Find every pair in as few moves as you can for 3 stars.
- Clear a table to open the next one.
Features
- 12 tables with names like Tea for four, Picnic blanket, Shuffle shed and Grand creep ball.
- Three twists: peek (see all cards first), gold pairs (flash every card) and shuffles (two cards swap; watch them move).
- Combos for pairs found in a row.
- Every table has a host creature to meet.
- A table coach on the first table to show you how it works.
- A results card with the creatures you met and links to her site.
- A move counter and a timer, so you can try to beat your own best on every table.
Modes, levels and unlocks
- Tables
- 12 tables from 3 to 15 pairs. Clear one to open the next. Up to 3 stars each, 36 in all.
- Today's deck
- A daily deck of 8 pairs with gold pairs, the same for everyone, with a result to share.
Tips
- Turn over cards you have not seen yet before guessing. Each new card is information.
- Say the creature's look in your head ("spiky one, top left") to remember it.
- On shuffle tables, watch the swap animation closely.
- Save the gold pair for when the table is full of unknowns.
- On peek tables, look at the corners and the middle first: they are the easiest spots to remember.
Who will like Pair o' Creeps?
Pair o' Creeps is for families, younger players and anyone who wants a relaxed brain game. The first tables are short and friendly, and the later ones with 15 pairs and shuffles are a real memory test for grown-ups.
It is a nice game to play together, taking turns on the same screen and trying to remember where the other person's misses were. Every table also introduces a host creature, so you meet a few new drawings each time.
The cards are big and clear, there is no timer pressure, and a whole table takes only a few minutes.
